This regulation may be cited as the Education (School Curriculum P–10) Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1998 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the Education(SchoolCurriculumP–10)Regulation 1997 . ˙ Insertion of new pt 4 3. After section 10— insert— ‘ PART 4—TESTS FOR ASSESSMENT OF STUDENTS’ SKILLS OR KNOWLEDGE ˙ ‘ Required tests—Act, s 13 ‘ 11. For section 13 1 of the Act, the council must develop the following tests— (a) a test, for administering in 1998 and 1999, to assess the literacy and numeracy skills of a group of students in year 3; (b) a test, for administering in 1998 and each subsequent year, to assess the literacy and numeracy skills of all students in year 5.’.
