REGULATIONS 1961. No. 134

Grants in aid 1. Regulation 16 of the Education Regulations is amended by omitting

Application.

3.—(1.) The amendments effected by the last preceding regulation apply in relation to a grant under this Part that is paid, after the commencement of these Regulations, in respect of the conveyance of a child to and from school on the thirty-first day of January, One thousand nine hundred and sixty-one, or on any subsequent day.

(2.) Where, before the commencement of these Regulations, a grant under this Part has been paid in respect of the conveyance of a child to and from school on any of the days during the period from and including the thirty-first day of January, One thousand nine hundred and sixty-one, to and including the day immediately preceding the date of commencement of these Regulations, there is payable, by virtue of this sub-regulation, an additional grant, in respect of that conveyance, at the appropriate rate specified in Regulation 19 of the Education Regulations, as amended by the last preceding regulation, less the amount of the grant previously paid in respect of that conveyance.
