EDUCATION REFORM AMENDMENT ACT 1997—

PROCLAMATION

(L.S.) GORDON SAMUELS, Governor.

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Education Reform Amendment Act 1997, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 19 December 1997 as the day on which that Act (except for Schedule 1) commences.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the Education Reform Amendment Act 1997 except for amendments made by that Act relating to the School Certificate and Higher School Certificate.
