EDUCATION REFORM ACT 1990 NO. 8 - PROCLAMATION

NEW SOUTH WALES

I, Rear Admiral Sir DAVID JAMES MARTIN, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Education Reform Act 1990, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 8 June 1990 as the day on which the following provisions of that Act commence:

(a) Part 1;
(b) Part 9 (except section 102);

(c) section 130;

(d) section 132;

(e)

section 133, in so far as it repeals sections 29, 30 (2) - (6) and 31 of and Schedules 2 and 3 to the Education and Public Instruction Act 1987;

(f)

section 134, in its application to the provisions of Part 1 of Schedule 3 and clause 3 of Part 2 of Schedule 3, and those provisions;

(g) Schedule 1.
