Education (Queensland Studies Authority) Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2010 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Education (Queensland Studies Authority) Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2010 . 2 Commencement Sections 4 to 11 and 24 to 28 commence on 1 January 2011. 3 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Education(QueenslandStudiesAuthority) Regulation 2002. 4 Amendment of s 5 (Persons eligible to take examination) Section 5(1)(c), ‘19’— omit, insert— ‘17’. 5 Amendment of s 7 (Number of examination subjects in which examination may be taken) (1) Section 7(1)(a), ‘19’— omit, insert— ‘17’. (2) Section 7(2), from ‘examinations in more’— omit , insert— ‘examinations— (a) in the year 11 year of schooling; or (b) in more than 2 examination subjects in the year 12 year of schooling.’. 6 Insertion of new s 8A Part 2, division 4— 2010 SL No. 212 Page 3

(2) Section 14(11) and (12)— renumber as section 14(9) and (10). 11 Amendment of s 20 (Revaluation of achievement in examination) (1) Section 20, heading, ‘Revaluation’— omit , insert— ‘ Reassessment ’.
