This regulation may be cited as the Education (Overseas Students) Regulation 1997 . ˙ Education (Overseas Students) Act 1996—uncommenced provisions 2.(1) In this section— “postponed law” means the Education(OverseasStudents)Act1996 (other than sections 1 and 2). (2) The period before automatic commencement under the ActsInterpretation Act 1954 , section 15DA(2), of the postponed law is extended to 7 December 1998. (3) This section expires on 8 December 1998.
