Commencement Proclamation

under the

Education Legislation Amendment Act 2006 No 114

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (2) of the Education Legislation Amendment Act 2006, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 30 November 2009 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the uncommenced provisions of the Education Legislation Amendment Act 2006. The amendments to be commenced relate to the management of health and safety risks at schools arising from student behaviour.
