s5 4 s5 Education (General Provisions) Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 2004 No. 227, 2004 (b) 9 to 20 students—$9 256 plus $1 157 for each student more than 8 students each year; or (c) more than 20 students—$23 140 plus $772 for each student more than 20 students each year. ‘Division 2 If GST is payable ‘For a hostel boarding— (a) up to 8 students—$10 181.60 each year; or (b) 9 to 20 students—$10 181.60 plus $1 272.70 for each student more than 8 students each year; or (c) more than 20 students—$25 454 plus $849.20 for each student more than 20 students each year. ‘Part 4 Remote area tuition allowance ‘1 For a primary school— (a) if the charge for tuition is not more than $1 190—the amount of the charge; or (b) if the charge for tuition is more than $1 190—$1 190 plus 50c for each dollar charged that is more than $1 190, to a maximum of $2 381. ‘2 For a secondary school— (a) if the charge for tuition is not more than $1 716—the amount of the charge; or (b) if the charge for tuition is more than $1 716—$1 716 plus 50c for each dollar charged that is more than $1 716, to a maximum of $3 431. ‘3 For a school that does not distinguish between primary and secondary education for certain students with disabilities and provides only special education for those students—
s5 5 s5 Education (General Provisions) Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 2004 No. 227, 2004 (a) for a student who will be less than 13 years at the end of the year for which the allowance is paid— (i) if the charge for tuition is not more than $1 190—the amount of the charge; or (ii) if the charge for tuition is more than $1 190—$1 190 plus 50c for each dollar charged that is more than $1 190, to a maximum of $2 381; and (b) for a student who will be 13 years or more at the end of the year for which the allowance is paid— (i) if the charge for tuition is not more than $1 716—the amount of the charge; or (ii) if the charge for tuition is more than $1 716— $1 716 plus 50c for each dollar charged that is more than $1 716, to a maximum of $3 431. ‘Part 5 Remote area travel allowance ‘1 For a student who travels— (a) from a home in area 1 to a place in area 3—$938; or (b) from a home in area 2 to a place in area 3— (i) if the shortest trafficable route by road is via area 1—$938; or (ii) otherwise—$312; or (c) from a home in area 3 to a place in area 3— (i) if the shortest trafficable route by road is via area 2—$312; or (ii) otherwise—$105. ‘2 For a student who travels to a place in area 1 or area 2 and the most convenient direct route by road is— (a) not more than 150 km and takes—
