Made by the Governor in Executive Council.
Part 1 — Preliminary
1. Citation
These regulations are the Education and Training Regulations
Amendment (Fees and Charges) Regulations 2018.2. Commencement
These regulations come into operation as follows —
(a)
Part 1 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette (gazettal day);
(b) Parts 2 and 3 — This Part amends the Teacher Registration (General)
Regulations 2012.
(0 if gazettal day is before 1 July 2018 — on
1 July 2018; or(ii) if gazettal day is, or is after, 1 July 2018 — on
the day after gazettal day;
(c) Part 4 — on 1 January 2019. Part 2 — Teacher Registration (General)

Delete Schedule 1 and insert:

1. Fee payable by a person who applies for s. 10(2)(e) provisional registration -
(a) if the applicant has a teaching $133 qualification from an accredited
initial teacher education
programme(b) if the applicant has a teaching $133 qualification conferred in Australia
or New Zealand that the applicant
wishes the Board to recognise as
equivalent to a teaching
qualification from an accredited
initial teacher education
programme(c) if the applicant has a teaching $449.50 qualification conferred in a country
other than Australia or New
Zealand that the applicant wishes
the Board to recognise as
equivalent to a teaching
qualification from an accredited
initial teacher education
programme(d) if the application is in accordance $133
with the mutual recognition principle or the Trans-Tasman
mutual recognition principle
(e) if the applicant holds no fee non-practising registration
2. Fee payable by a person who applies for s. 10(2)(e) full registration -
(a) if the applicant has a teaching $168.50 qualification from an accredited
initial teacher education
programme(b) if the applicant has a teaching $168.50 qualification conferred in Australia
or New Zealand that the applicant
wishes the Board to recognise as
equivalent to such a qualification

(a) if the application involves the $539 consideration for approval of a
qualification or qualifications
conferred by a body that is not
established, or primarily based, inAustralia or New Zealand
(b) if the application involves a no fee nominee participating in a teacher exchange programme approved by the Board for the purpose of this
item
(c) otherwise $223.50
4. Fee payable by a person who applies for s. 10(2)(e)
non-practising registration -
(a)
eligible under section 18(a) of the Act
no fee
(b) eligible under section 18(b) of the Act—
(1) if the applicant has a $168.50 teaching qualification from an accredited initial teacher education programme
(ii) if the applicant has a $168.50 teaching qualification
conferred in Australia or
New Zealand that the
applicant wishes the Board
to recognise as equivalent to
such a qualification

Initial Teacher Education Programmes) Regulations 2012.
