1. These regulations may be cited as the Education Act (Registration of Non-Government Schools) Regulations, 1981.

2. (1) No governing authority or person authorised by a governing authority shall provide false or misleading information in an application made under section 72g for registration of a non- Government school or proposed non-Government school.

(2) Any person who is in breach of or who fails to comply with subregulation (1) of this regulation shall be liable to a penalty not exceeding one hundred dollars.

3. If upon receipt of an application for registration the Board is of the opinion that additional relevant information is required for its purposes it may require the governing authority to furnish such additional information.

4. (1) For the purposes of section 72g(2)(b), the fee payable on an application for registration of a non-Government school (or proposed non-Government school) is $150.

(2) For the purposes of section 72ia(2)(b), the fee payable on an application for approval of a non-Government school (or proposed non-Government school) for the enrolment of full fee paying overseas students is—

(a) in the case of a primary school . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Nil;

(b)	in the case of a secondary school, where the application is made in respect of the following number of students:
