AN ACT to amend section 3 and to repeal section

34A of the Education Act, 1928-1972.

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Education	Short title
and citation.

(2) In this Act the Education Act, 1928-1972 is approved for reprint, 22nd

referred to as the principal Act.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act and 77 of 1970 and

may be cited as the Education Act, 1928-1973. Acts Nos. 3. 89 and 94 of

No. 15.] Education (No. 3). [1973.

Commence-

ment. 2. This Act shall come into operation on a date to

be fixed by proclamation.

Section 3

amended. 3. Section 3 of the principal Act is amended by

deleting the interpretation of the term "Kinder-

garten".

Section 34A

repealed. 4. Section 34A of the principal Act is hereby

repealed.
