AN ACT to amend section nine B of the Education

Act, 1928-1970.

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Education Short title.

This Act shall be deemed to have come into

operation on the first day of January, 1972.

Section 9B

Subsection (2) of section 9B of the principal Act is amended by deleting paragraphs (a), (b) and (c) and substituting the following paragraphs

amended.

(a)

in the case of a scholar who is in any year of a course of primary education—thirty dollars per annum; and

(b)

in the case of a scholar who is in any year of a course of secondary education—forty dollars per annum, .
