A NAC'T to amend Section twenty-eight of the Education Act, 1928, so as to provide for the reclassification of teachers, their salaries and allowances, once at least in every five years.

this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of

the same, as follows :—

Short title.

1. This Act may be cited as the Education Act Amendment Act, 1929, and shall be read as one with the Education Act, 1928, hereinafter referred to as the principal Act.

Amendment of 5. al. 2. Section twenty-eight of the principal Act is amended by

inserting after subsection (2) thereof a subsection as fol-

lows

" (2a) There shall be a classification of teachers, their salaries and allowances, as provided for in paragraph (e) of subsection (1) of this section, once at least in every five years."
