EastLink Project Amendment Regulations 2019

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the EastLink Project Regulations 2016 as a consequence of the enactment of the Transport Legislation Amendment Act 2019.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 258 of the EastLink Project Act 2004.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 January 2020.

4Certificates as to registered operator of vehicle

In regulation 15 of the EastLink Project Regulations 2016[1]—

(a)in subregulations (1)(a) and (2)(a), for ''VicRoads or the Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources'' substitute "the Secretary to the Department of Transport'';

(b)in subregulations (1)(b) and (2)(b), for ''VicRoads or the Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources (as the case may be)'' substitute "the Secretary to the Department of Transport''.
