AN ACT to determine the direction of the latter part of the Eastern Railway within and near to the Town of York.

HEREAS it is expedient to determine the direction of the

-NATwithin and near to the Town of York : Be it enacted by His latter part of the Third Section of the Eastern Railway, Excellency the Governor of Western Australia and its Dependencies, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:-

1. THIS Act may be cited as " The Eastern Railway Terminus Short Title

DESCRIPTION OF LINE OF RAILWAY FROM LOT 283, IN THE

TOWN OF YORK, TO THE TERMINUS OF THE LINE.

Passing from York Town Lot 283, which is in the vicinity of Lot 284, by a

curve of 60 chs. rad. to the left, the chord of which bears 187° 4', through Lots 285, 287, 288, 289, 290, and 291 into Knight Street, a distance of 12 chs. 43 lks. ; thence by a straight line bearing 181° 8' across Knight Street through Lots 292, 294, 296, 298, 300 across Roe Street through Lots 253, 255, 257, 259 across Brunswick Road through Lots 315, 316, 322, 323 across River Street through Lots 173, 172, 171, 170, 169, 168 across Ford Street into Sub. A. 2, a distance of 55 chs. 31 Is.; thence by a curve of 30 ohs. rad. to the right, the chord of which bears 190° 36' 30', through Sub. A 2 across Pool Street into D, a distance of 9 chs. 92 lks.; thence by a straight line bearing 200° 05' across Howick Street through D across Macartney Street through Lots 29, 28 into 27, a distance of 12 chs. 56 lb.; thence by a curve of 30 chs. rad. to the left, the chord of which bears 188° 49' 30", through Lot 26 across Grey Street through Lots 179, 178, and 177 across Scuth Street into Loc. Y, a distance of 11 ohs. 79 lks.; thence by a straight line bearing 177° 34' for a distance of 9 chs. 48 lks., terminating at a peg marked 89 miles 36 chs. 55 lks.
