I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Eastern Gas Pipeline (Special Provisions) Act 1996, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 24 July 1998 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the uncommenced provisions of the Eastern Gas Pipeline (Special Provisions) Act 1996. Those provisions reserve certain

land (described in Schedule 2 to that Act) as part of Morton National Park.
