No 126—PROCLAMATION

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Eastern Gas Pipeline (Special Provisions) Act 1996, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 2 May 1997 as the day on which that Act (section 5 and Schedule 2 excepted) commences.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the whole of the Eastern Eastern Gas Pipeline

(Special Provisions) Act 1996 except section 5 and Schedule 2. Section 5 adds certain

land (described in Schedule 2) to Morton National Park.
