This Plan may be cited as the
This Plan shall take effect from 1 February 1993.
This Plan applies to the fishery management area known as East Point Aquatic Life Reserve declared by notice in
In this Plan, unless the contrary intention appears:
(1) A person may, subject to this Plan, engage in amateur fishing in the Reserve.
(2) A person shall not, in the Reserve, take fish for sale.
A person shall use only rod and line and attachments, or handline and attachments, to fish for or take fish in the Reserve.
(1) A person shall not, in the Reserve, take a fish that is less than 30 cm long.
(2) A fish (other than a sedentary organism) shall be deemed not to have been taken if, as soon as possible after it has been taken, it is returned, with as little damage to the fish as possible, to the water from which it was taken.
(3) A person shall not, in the Reserve:
(a) take a sedentary organism; or
(b) injure or destroy a sedentary organism, other than a sedentary organism brought into the Reserve by the person.
