Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

1 . This Act may be cited as the " E a r l y Closing (Amendment) Act, 1915." I t shall be construed with the Early Closing Act, 1899, the Early Closing (Amend­ ment) Act, 1900, and the Early Closing Amendment Act, 1910.
2 . Notwithstanding anything contained in the Early Closing Act, 1899, the Early Closing (Amendment) Act, 1900, or the Early Closing Amendment Act, 1910, the opening and closing times for butchers' shops situate in a shopping district shall on each day be such times as may hereafter be fixed by any award under any Act (State or Commonwealth) relating to industrial arbitration for the commencing and cessation of work by employees in such butchers' shops : Provided that until other hours are so fixed the opening time shall be half-past six o'clock in the morning of each week day, and the closing time shall be live o'clock in the afternoons of each week day other than Saturday,

and one o'clock in the afternoon of Saturday.

3 . A shopkeeper of a butcher's shop shall not be guilty of an offence against the provisions of section seven of the Early Closing Act, 1S99, by reason only that his shop was open for persons entering or leaving such shop solely in connection with the delivery of meat to such shop.

4 . The provisions of section eight of the Early Closing (Amendment) Act, 1900, shall not apply to butchers' shops :

Provided that butchers' shops which close on Saturday for any religious purpose during the whole of the time between the opening and closing hours fixed as aforesaid for that day may be opened and kept open on that day between the hours of six o'clock and eight o'clock in the afternoon.
