AN ACT to amend the Early Closing Act,

1902, and its amendments.

[Assented to 23rd March, 1917.]

Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Par-BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by andwith the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and

liament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1.     This Act may be cited as the Early Closing Art Amendment Short title and

A ct, 1917, and shall come into operation on a date to be fixed by commencement.

Proclamation.

2.     In this Act the expression " Early Closing Act" means the Interpretation.

Early Closing Act, 1902, and its amendments as reprinted in the

1911-12 Sessional Volume of the Western Australian Statutes.

3. The following proviso is hereby added to section eleven of Amendment of Section 11 of Early

the Early Closing Act, that is to say:-	Closing Act.
" Provided that the foregoing provisions of this section shall, whilst such resolution as is set out in Schedule Four is in force in any district, be read and have effect in such district as if Friday' were substituted for Saturday ' and Saturday' for Wednesday' in and throughout such provisions."
