1. The applicants seek special leave to appeal from a decision of the Court of Appeal of the Northern Territory of Australia (Grant CJ, Kelly and Blokland JJ) dismissing an appeal from a decision of the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory (Burns J) which dismissed appeals from a decision of the Local Court of the Northern Territory.

2. There is no reason to doubt the correctness of the conclusions of the Court of Appeal. Accordingly, it would be futile to grant the extension of time necessary for the application to proceed.

3. Pursuant to r 41.08.1 of the High Court Rules 2004 (Cth), we direct the Registrar to draw up, sign and seal an order dismissing the application with costs.
