GLEESON CJ: On 12 December 1997 the Court constituted by Chief Justice Brennan and Justices McHugh and Gummow dismissed applications for special leave to appeal made by the applicant. The present application is to reopen those dismissals. In support of the application the applicant has filed certain written material which the Court has considered. The Court is of the view that the material relied upon by the applicant discloses no grounds for reopening the earlier decisions. The present application is dismissed.
We will adjourn until 10.15 in Canberra on 31 August 1999.
AT 11.58 AM THE MATTER WAS CONCLUDED
