Drugs of Addiction Notification Amendment

Regulations 2015

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Drugs of Addiction Notification
Amendment Regulations 2015.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette (gazettal day);
(b)	the rest of the regulations —

(i)      if the Alcohol and Drug Authority Amendment Act 2015 section 8 (section 8) comes into operation on or before gazettal day — on the day after gazettal day;

(ii)      otherwise — when section 8 comes into operation.

3.             Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Drugs of Addiction Notification
Regulations 1980.

4.             Regulation 5 amended

In regulation 5(2)(b) delete “Director, Alcohol and Drug
Authority” and insert:

chief executive officer of the department of the Public Service
principally assisting in the administration of the Alcohol and
Other Drugs Act 1974
