DRUGS OF ADDICTION NOTIFICATION AMENDMENT

REGULATIONS 1996

Made by His Excellency the Governor in Executive Council.

Citation

1.      These regulations may be cited as the Drugs of Addiction Notifmtion

Amendment Regulations 1996.

Commencement

2.      These regulations come into operation on the day fixed as the day on

which the Poisons Amendment Act 1995 comes into operation.

Regulation 2 amended

3.	Re	lation 2 of the Drugs of Addiction Noti	ation Regulations 198P is
amende	?	by deleting the definition of "drug of a diction" and substituting the	6"

following definition -

"drug of addiction" means an substance included in

Schedule 8 or 9 in ~ p p e n 3 x	A of the Poisons Act
1964;
