s1 2 s5 Drugs Misuse Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 2001 No. 174, 2001 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Drugs Misuse Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 2001 . 2 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Drugs Misuse Regulation 1987. 3 Insertion of new pt 6 After part 5— insert— ‘PART 6—TRANSITIONAL PROVISION ‘30 Transitional provision for Drugs Misuse Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 2001 ‘ (1) To remove doubt, it is declared that this regulation, as in force immediately before the commencement of the Drugs Misuse Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 2001 (the “amending regulation” ), continues to apply in relation to an offence against the Act committed before the commencement of the amending regulation. ‘ (2) Proceedings for an offence against the Act committed before the commencement of the amending regulation may be continued or started as if the amending regulation had not been made.’. 4 Amendment of sch 1 (Dangerous drugs) Schedule 1— insert— ‘Amphetamine Methylamphetamine’. 5 Amendment of sch 2 (Dangerous drugs) Schedule 2, ‘Amphetamine’ and ‘Methylamphetamine’— omit .
