Drugs Misuse Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2009 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Drugs Misuse Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2009 . 2 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Drugs Misuse Regulation 1987. 3 Amendment of s 3 (Prescribed procedures for the disposal of hypodermic syringes and needles) Section 3, ‘shall be as follows’— omit, insert— ‘are’. 4 Amendment of s 4 (Prescribed procedure for disposal of dangerous drugs) (1) Section 4, ‘shall be as follows’— omit, insert— ‘is’. (2) Section 4(b), from ‘officer’, including editor’s note— omit, insert— ‘inspector appointed under the Health Act 1937 , section 137.’. 5 Amendment of s 6 (Documents and proof of identity required for supply of a controlled substance or controlled thing—Act, s 43D(1)(a)) Section 6(3), ‘drivers’— omit, insert— ‘driver’. 6 Amendment of schs 1 and 2 Schedules 1 and 2, heading, after ‘sections 4’— Page 2 2009 SL No. 99
