Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Drug Misuse and Trafficking Act 1985.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to amend Schedule 1 to the Drug Misuse and Trafficking Act 1985. Schedule 1 lists plants and drugs that are prohibited for the purposes of the Act. The proposed amendment adds certain drugs to the list.

This Regulation is made under the Drug Misuse and Trafficking Act 1985, including sections 44 and 45 (the general regulation-making power).

This Regulation is the Drug Misuse and Trafficking Amendment
(Prohibited Drugs) Regulation 2003.

2 Amendment of Drug Misuse and Trafficking Act 1985 No 226

The Drug Misuse and Trafficking Act 1985 is amended by inserting in appropriate order in Schedule 1:

1-Benzylpiperazine 3.0g 1.0g 5.0g 0.25kg 1.0kg
1-(3-Chlorophenyl)-piperazine 3.0g 1.0g 5.0g 0.25kg 1.0kg
1-(4-Methoxyphenyl)- 3.0g 1.0g 5.0g 0.25kg 1.0kg
