Act No. 145, 1987

An Act to amend the Drug Misuse and Trafficking Act 1985 with respect
to the possession of certain items of equipment. [Assented to 16 June 1987]

Drug Misuse and Trafficking (Amendment) 1987

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the "Drug Misuse and Trafficking

(Amendment) Act 1987".

Amendment of Act No. 226, 1985, s. 11 (Possession of equipment for administration of prohibited drugs)

2. The Drug Misuse and Trafficking Act 1985 is amended by inserting

after section 11(1) the following subsection:

(1A) Subsection (1) does not apply to or in respect of a hypodermic

syringe or a hypodermic needle.
