(Amending the Schedule of prohibited plants or drugs)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Drug Misuse and Trafficking Act 1985, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Regulation commences on 25 July, 1993.

Amendment

2. Schedule 1 to the Drug Misuse and Trafficking Act 1985 is

amended by inserting in alphabetical order the following matter:

Buprenorphine 0.06g 0.02g 0.1g 0.01kg 0.04 —

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to amend the Drug Misuse and Trafficking Act

1985 so as to add Buprenorphine to the Schedule of prohibited plants or drugs.

This Regulation is made under section 44 of the Drug Misuse and Trafficking

Act 1985.
