REGULATION

(Amending the Schedule of prohibited plants and drugs)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Drug Misuse and Trafficking Act 1985, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Schedule 1 to the Drug Misuse and Trafficking Act 1985 is amended:

(a) by inserting in alphabetical order the following matter:
Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol 0.6g 0.2g 1.0g 0.1kg 0.5kg -
(dronabinol) where prepared
and packed for therapeutic
use

(b)

by inserting after the word “TetrahydrocannabinoI” in the column “Prohibited plant or prohibited drug” the words “and its alkyl homologues except where separately specified in this Schedule”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to add certain substances to the Schedule of prohibited drugs and prohibited plants set out in the Drug Misuse and Trafficking Act 1985.

This Regulation is made under section 44 of the Drug Misuse and Trafficking Act
