His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Drug Misuse and Trafficking Act 1985.

Explanatory note

The object of this Regulation is to amend Schedule l to the Drug Misuse and Traffcking Act 1985 so as to add the substance 4-Hydroxybutanoic acid (commonly known as “Fantasy”) to the list of prohibited drugs contained in that Schedule.

This Regulation is made under the Drug Misuse and Traffcking Act 1985, including section 44 (the power to make regulations amending Schedule 1).

1 Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Drug Misuse and Traffcking Amendment
(Fantasy) Regulation 1996.

2 Amendment of Schedule 1 to the Drug Misuse and Trafficking Act 1985

Schedule 1 to the Drug Misuse and Trafficking Act 1985 is amended by inserting in alphabetical order the following matter:

4-Hydroxybutanoic acid 30.0g 10.0g 50.0g 1.0kg 4.0kg –
