Driving Instructors Amendment (Fees)

Regulation 2011

Driving Instructors Act 1992

Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Driving Instructors Act 1992.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to increase the fees payable in connection with the administration of the Driving Instructors Act 1992. The fee increases are generally in line with movements in the Consumer Price Index.
This Regulation is made under the Driving Instructors Act 1992, including sections 11 (2),

30 (2) (b) and 59 (the general regulation-making power).

Driving Instructors Amendment (Fees) Regulation 2011

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Driving Instructors Amendment (Fees)
Regulation 2011.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on 1 July 2011 and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Driving Instructors Regulation 2009

Schedule 1

Omit the Schedule. Insert instead:

Schedule 1 Fees

(Clause 5 (1))

Type of fee Fee ($)
Application fee for driving instructor’s licence under section 11 of 48
the Act, subject to a condition that the holder complete a further
course of training within a specified time
Application fee for any other driving instructor’s licence under 155
section 11 of the Act
Application fee for renewal of driving instructor’s licence under 155
section 23 of the Act
Fee for issue of duplicate driving instructor’s licence under 23
section 30 of the Act
Fee for issue of certificate under section 46 of the Act 20
