Dried Vine Fruits Equalization Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Dried Vine Fruits Equalization Act 1978.

Monthly returns

1. Regulation 4 of the Dried Vine Fruits Equalization Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulations (1) and (3) “third”.

Application

2. (1) The amendments made by these Regulations apply only to returns in respect of dried fruit that was in the custody of the packer immediately before the commencement of the Dried Vine Fruits Equalization Amendment Act 1984 or comes into the custody of the packer after that commencement, and the Dried Vine Fruits Equalization Regulations as in force immediately before that commencement continue to apply in relation to returns in respect of dried fruit that ceased to be in the custody of the packer before that commencement.

(2) Expressions used in this regulation have the same meanings as those expressions have in the Dried Vine Fruits Equalization Regulations.
