Dried Fruits (Repeal) Act 1997 No New South Wales

124—Proclamation

GORDON SAMUELS, Governor I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (2) of the Dried Fruits (Repeal) Act 1997, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 July 2000 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

Explanatory note
The object of this proclamation is to commence the uncommenced provisions of the Dried Fruits

(Repeal) Act 1997. The provisions being commenced are:

(a)

section 13 of that Act (which repeals the Dried Fruits Act 1939 and the Dried Fruits (General) Regulation 1993), and

(b)

Schedule 1 [1] and [3] to that Act (which make consequential amendments to the Marketing of Primary Products Act 1983).
