DRIED FRUITS (REPEAL) ACT 1999—PROCLAMATION

(L.S.) GORDON SAMUELS, Governor.

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (2) of the Dried Fruits (Repeal) Act 1997, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 19 December 1997 as the day on which sections 5–8 of that Act commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence certain uncommenced provisions of the Dried Fruits (Repeal) Act I997 that provide for the winding up of the New South Wales Dried Fruits Board.
