AN ACT to continue the operation of the Dried Fruits

Act, 1926.

this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of

the same, as follows:-

Short tItic.

1.

This Act may be cited as the Dried Fruits Act Continu- ance Act, 1934, and shall be read as one with the Dried Fruits Act, 1926, as reprinted in the Appendix to the Sessional Volume of the Statutes for the year 1928, hereinafter referred

to as the principal Act.

Continuance of

2.

(1.) The principal Act shall continue in operation until

the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and

thirty-eight, and no longer.

(2.) Section thirty-six of the principal Act (as amended by the Acts No. 21 of 1929 and No. 32 of 1931) is amended by

deleting the words "thirty-five," in lines two and three of the section, and inserting in lieu thereof the words "thirty- eight."
