AN ACT to continue the operation of the Dried Fruits

Act, 1926-1937.

[Assented to 2nd October, 1942.]

BE it enacted by the Ring's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-

This Act may be cited as the Dried Fruits Act Amendment Act, 1942, and shall be read as one with the

Short title.

Dried Fruits Act, 1926-1937 (No. 49 of 1926, as reprinted in the Appendix to the Sessional Volume of the Statutes for the year 1928 and amended by the Acts No. 41 of 1937 and No. 21 of 1939), hereinafter referred to as the prin- cipal Act.

(a) The principal Act as amended by this Act shall continue in operation until the thirty-first day of March,

(b) Section thirty-six of the principal Act (as amended by the Acts No. 21 of 1929, No. 32 of 1931, No. 15 of 1934,

No. 41 of 1937, and No. 21 of 1939) is amended by deleting the words "forty-three" in line two of the section and inserting in lieu thereof the words "forty-five."
