Regulations 2005
Made by the Lieutenant-Governor and Administrator in Executive
Council.1. Citation
These regulations are the Door to Door Trading Amendment
Regulations 2005.2. Commencement
These regulations come into operation on 1 January 2006.
3. The regulations amended
The amendments in these regulations are to the Door to Door
Trading Regulations 1987*.[* Reprint 1 as at 13 February 2004.
(a) a standard form contract; or

(1) Regulation 2A is repealed and the following regulation is
inserted instead —44
2A. Contracts to which Act does not apply (1) The Act does not apply to an electricity supply contract
or a gas supply contract.(2) In subregulation (1) —
"electricity supply contract" means —

(b) a non-standard contract,
as defined in section 47 of the Electricity IndustryAct 2004;
"gas supply contract" means —
(a) a standard form contract; or (b) a non-standard contract, as defined in section 11WB of the Energy
Coordination Act 1994.
(2) Despite the amendment effected by subregulation (1), the Act
applies to a non-standard contract, as defined in section 47 of
the Electricity Industry Act 2004, entered into in the periodbeginning on 1 January 2006 and ending on 30 March 2006.
