N ACT to authorise the Construction of a

Railway from Donnybrook to Bridgetown.

[Assented to, 12th October, M95.]

E it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and

with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Preamble.

Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

THIS Act may be cited as "'The Donnybrook-Bridgetown

Short Title.

Railway Act, 1895."

IT shall be lawful to construct and maintain a Railway from

Donnybrook—Bridgetown Railway

Deviation. 3. NOTWITHSTANDING anything contained in "The Railways Act. 1878," it shall be lawful for the Commissioner of Railways to deviate from the line described in the said Schedule to the extent of five miles on either side thereof.

DONNYBROOK-BRIDGETOWN RAILWAY.

DESCRIPTION OF LINE OF RAILWAY.

Commencing at the termination of the Boyamtp-Minninup Railway near Donnybrook, and proceeding thence in a generally North-East by Easterly direction for about 21 miles, thence in a generally South-East by Southerly direction for about 431 miles, and terminating at a point near Bridgetown, as more particularly delineated by a red line on Map P.W.D., W.A., No. 3948, deposited at the office of the Commissioner of Railways, at Perth. Total length, about 46 miles.
