Domicile Regulations

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Domicile Act 1982.

Citation

 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Domicile Regulations.

Interpretation

2. In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears, “the Act” means the Domicile Act 1982.

Declaration of Territories to which the Act extends

 3. For the purposes of sub-section 3 (6) of the Act, the Territory of Christmas Island, the Territory of Cocos (Keeling) Islands and the Territory of Norfolk Island, being external Territories, are declared to be Territories to which the Act extends.
