Domestic Meat Premises Charge Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Domestic Meat Premises Charge Act 1993.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on 1 February 1996.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Domestic Meat Premises Charge Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Regulation 5 (Charge for a financial year)

3.1   Omit “that begins on or after 1 July 1994”.

4.   Regulation 6 (Charge for the 1993/1994 financial year)

4.1   Omit the regulation.

5.   Schedule 2

5.1   Omit the Schedule, substitute:

Abattoir having a Quality Assurance Agreement approved under Part 7 of the Meat Inspection (General) Orders for all operations at the abattoir:

(a) if the number of inspection hours received in the previous financial year is 5,000 or fewer

(b) if the number of inspection hours received in the previous financial year is more than 5,000
