Domestic Animals Amendment Regulations 2014

The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's deputy with the advice of the Executive Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Domestic Animals Regulations 2005—

(a)to prescribe the form of receipt for a document or thing seized under Part 7A of the Act; and

(b)to make consequential amendments to Schedule 4.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 100 of the Domestic Animals Act 1994.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 July 2014.

4Receipt for seized documents

In regulation 46 of the Domestic Animals Regulations 2005[1], for "section 75(1)" substitute "sections 75(1) and 84GA(1)".

5Amendments to Schedule 4

(1)For the heading to Schedule 4 to the Domestic Animals Regulations 2005 substitute

"RECEIPT FOR DOCUMENT OR THING SEIZED UNDER SECTION 74(2)(e) OR PART 7A OF THE ACT".

(2)In Schedule 4 to the Domestic Animals Regulations 2005—

(a)for "documents" (wherever occurring) substitute "document or thing";

(b)after "document" insert "or thing".
