Domestic Animals Amendment (Infringement Notice) Regulations 2018

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Domestic Animals Regulations 2015—

(a)to prescribe the penalty for an infringement notice for an offence against section 37A of the Domestic Animals Act 1994; and

(b)to omit the reference to an offence for which a penalty for an infringement notice is prescribed in consequence of the repeal of the offence.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 100 of the Domestic Animals Act 1994.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 February 2018.

4Infringement penalties for offences against the Act

In regulation 50 of the Domestic Animals Regulations 2015[1]—

(a)in paragraph (b), after "37(1C)(d)," insert "37A,";

(b)in paragraph (d) omit "41EA(1),".
