Dog Fence (Payments and Rates) Amendment Act 2016

An Act to amend the Dog Fence Act 1946.

The Parliament of South Australia enacts as follows:

Part 1Preliminary1Short title

This Act may be cited as the Dog Fence (Payments and Rates) Amendment Act 2016.

2Amendment provisions

In this Act, a provision under a heading referring to the amendment of a specified Act amends the Act so specified.

Part 2Amendment of Dog Fence Act 1946

3Amendment of section 24 – Payments to owners of dog fences

Section 24(1)—delete "$250" and substitute:

$400

4Amendment of section 25 – Imposition of rates on ratable land

Section 25(3)—delete "$1.20" and substitute:

$2.00

5Amendment of section 28 – Charge to be payable by occupiers of land outside dog fence

Section 28(8)—delete "South Australian Farmers Federation Inc." and substitute:

Livestock SA Incorporated
