Dog Control Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, GORDON GLEN DENTON SCHOLES, the Minister of State for Territories, hereby make the following Regulations under the Dog Control Ordinance 1975.

1. Regulation 2 of the Dog Control Regulations is repealed and the

following regulation substituted:

Interpretation

"2. In these Regulations—

'estimated purchase price' has the same meaning as in sub-section 32A (2)

of the Ordinance;

'the Ordinance' means the Dog Control Ordinance 1975".

Conditions of sale

2. Regulation 3 of the Dog Control Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting from sub-regulation (1) all the words after "price"; and

(b) by omitting sub-regulation (2).

3. Regulation 6 of the Dog Control Regulations is repealed and the

following regulation substituted:

Final adjustment of purchase price

"6. Where the Registrar has received particulars of the veterinary

surgeon's fees—

(a)	if the amount of that part of the estimated purchase price that represents the amount referred to in paragraph 32A (2) (b) of the Ordinance exceeds the amount of those fees—an amount equal to the excess is payable to the purchaser; and
(b)	if the amount of that part of the estimated purchase price that

represents the amount referred to in paragraph 32A (2) (b) of the

Ordinance is less than the amount of those fees—the Registrar shall

inform the purchaser of the difference and that an amount equal to

the difference is due from the purchaser.".
