Dog Control Regulations 2001

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Dog Control Act 2000 .26 March 2001

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Dog Control Regulations 2001 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on 4 April 2001. 3InterpretationIn these regulations, Act means the Dog Control Act 2000 . 4Offences under Act (1)  The offences generally described in Column 2 of Schedule 1 under the respective sections specified in Column 1 of that Schedule are prescribed as the offences under the Act in respect of which infringement notices may be issued. (2)  The penalties specified in Column 3 of Schedule 1 are prescribed as the penalties payable in respect of prescribed offences to which the respective infringement notices relate.
