An Ordinance to amend the Dog Control Ordinance 1975

Short title

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Dog Control (Amendment)

Ordinance 1981. 1

Principal Ordnance

2. In this Ordinance, "Principal Ordinance" means the Dog Control

Ordinance 1975. 2

Application for registration of dog

3 . Section 9 of the Principal Ordinance is amended by omitting from

Authorised by the ACT Parliamentary Counsel—also accessible at

paragraph (3) (b) "S5" and substituting "$8".
Return of impounded dogs

4. Section 30 of the Principal Ordinance is amended—

(a) by omitting from paragraph (2) (a) "S8" and substituting "S I5" ;

(b) by omitting from paragraph (2) (b) "$13" and substituting "$23"; and

(c) by omitting from paragraph (2) (c) "S18" and substituting "$31" .
