Dog Amendment Regulations 2004

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1. Citation
These regulations are the Dog Amendment Regulations 2004.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation on the day on which Part 2 Jurisdiction) Amendment and Repeal Act 2004 comes into operation or on the day of their publication in the Gazette, whichever is the later.

3.             The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Dog
Regulations 1976*.

4.             Regulation 7 replaced

Regulation 7 is repealed and the following regulation is inserted instead —

“

7.             Time for application for review: section 36(3) of the Act

For the purposes of section 36(3) of the Act, the prescribed time is within 7 days of the service on the owner of a notice of the decision the subject of the application for review.

”.

5.             First Schedule amended

(1)	The First Schedule Form 3 is deleted.
(2)	The First Schedule Form 5 is amended as follows:

(a) by deleting from “appeal within that time” to “2 days of so doing.” and inserting instead —

“

apply to the State Administrative Tribunal for a review of the

decision within that time.

”;

(b) by deleting notes (4) and (5) to the Form.
