An Ordinance to amend the Districts Ordinance 1966.
1.—(1.) This Ordinance may be cited as the Districts Ordinance
1967.*
(2.) The Districts Ordinance 1966, as amended by this Ordinance,
may be cited as the Districts Ordinance 1966-1967.
2. Section 5 of the Districts Ordinance 1966 is amended by omitting
from sub-section (1.) the word " Belconnen,".
3. The Schedule to the Districts Ordinance 1966 is amended—
(a)
by omitting the description of the boundaries of Canberra City District and inserting in its stead the following description:—
CANBERRA CITY DISTRICT

All that part of the Australian Capital Territory commencing at the northern most corner of Block 8 of Deposited Plan 596; and bounded thence by part of the generally northwestern and northeastern boundaries of the Territory generally northeasterly and southeasterly to the middle line of Gundaroo Road; thence by part of the middle line of Gundaroo Road southwesterly to the middle line of the Barton Highway; thence by part of the middle line of the Barton Highway northwesterly to the middle line of Charnwood Road; thence by part of the middle line of Charnwood Road and a northwesterly prolongation of that middle line generally northwesterly to a southeastern boundary of Block 8 of Deposited Plan 596; thence by part of that south eastern boundary northeasterly to the easternmost corner of that Block 8; thence by northeastern, northwestern and northeastern boundaries of that Block 8 northwesterly, southwesterly and northwesterly to the point of commencement.
