516 Qltuitslaubr ANNO VICESIMO QUINTO ELIZABETHAE SECUNDAE REGINAE No. 53 of 1976 An Act to amend the District Courts' and Magistrates Courts' Jurisdiction Act 1976 in certain particulars [ASSENTED TO 1ST OCTOBER, 1976] BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled , and by the authority of the same , as follows:- I. Short title and citation . (I) This Act may be cited as the District Courts' and Magistrates Courts' Jurisdiction Act Amendment Act 1976. (2) The District Courts' and Magistrates Courts' Jurisdiction Act 1976 is in this Act referred to as the Principal Act. (3) The Principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the District Courts' and Magistrates Courts' Jurisdiction Act 1976. 2. Amendment of s. 4. Section 4 of the Principal Act is amended by inserting in subsection (2) after the words "Act as " the words 11 subsequently amended and as

District Courts ' and Magistrates Courts', Etc., Amdt Act 1976. No. 53 517 3. Repeal of and new s. 12. Section 12 of the Principal Act is repealed and the following section is substituted:- " 12. Amendment of s. 88. Section 88 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting the words "(which is not land to which Part III of " The Landlord and Tenant Acts, 1948 to 1961," applies)".". 4. Amendment of s. 14 . Section 14 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting paragraph (a) and substituting the following paragraph:- " (a) omitting the words "(which is not land to which Part III of " The Landlord and Tenant Acts, 1948 to 1961," applies)" ;".
